The Pahiyas Festival is celebrated every May 15th as thanksgiving to the town’s patron saint, San Isidro Labrador. The people of Lucban decorate their houses with bright colorful rice wafers called Kiping. Fruits, vegetable, baskets, and woven palm hats are also used as decorations. A procession of the image of San Isidro Labrador is being done in the whole town to assure the farmers’ bountiful harvest in the coming season.
